Description
The Committee is in receipt of Bill 36 (2024), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI, APPENDIX A, PART I, DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND HUMAN CONCERNS, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT EMERGENCY HOUSING VOUCHERS.” Bill 36’s purpose is to amend the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget, Appendix A, Part I, Grants and Restricted Use Revenues - Schedule of Grants and Restricted Use Revenues by Departments and Programs for Fiscal Year 2024, Department of Housing and Human Concerns, by increasing the appropriation for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Emergency Housing Vouchers by $1,200,000.
