Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss matters relating to the Cost of Government Commission’s recommendations for boards and commissions.
Status
The Committee may receive a presentation from the Cost of Government Commission relating to their recommendations for boards and commissions, including the recommendations made in the Cost of Government Commission Annual Report 2010-2011 and in correspondence issued in May 2021 from the Chair of the Cost of Government Commission to the Maui County Charter Commission, entitled “Proposed Charter Amendments and Recommendations Concerning the Cost of Government Commission and Other Boards and Commissions.” The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
