CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS ON MAUI COUNTY  (ADEPT-1(10))

 

Description

Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss a proposed revolving fund to mitigate climate change, promote resiliency, and support implementing the Climate Action and Resiliency Plan under Subsection 20.44.050(C), Maui County Code. The Committee may discuss matters relating to Bill 66 (2026), establishing a Climate Action and Resiliency Revolving Fund, for which an amendment to the Revised Charter of the County of Maui (1983), as amended, is also intended to be proposed. 

 

Status

The Committee may receive comments from the Department of Environmental Management, Environmental Protection & Sustainability Division, and the Department of ʻŌiwi Resources on the proposed revolving fund. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
