1.                     County Communication 18-305, from Council Chair Mike White, relating to Emergency Event:  Hurricane Lane Response Efforts.

2.                     Correspondence dated September 10, 2018, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO PART II, SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF REVOLVING/SPECIAL FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019, EMERGENCY FUND.”  The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A, Part II, Special Purpose Revenues - Schedule of Revolving/Special Funds for Fiscal Year 2019, by adding a proviso of $3,000,000 under the Emergency Fund for emergency repairs to Pu`u Way in Haiku, Maui.   Existing twin corrugated metal culverts crossing under the Pu`u Way cul-de-sac in the Kuloli Subdivision were washed out by severe flooding related to Hurricane Lane.
