AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE TRANSFERS RELATING TO CATEGORIES OF USE WITHIN A PROGRAM OR DEPARTMENT (DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT) (BF-62(6))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence dated March 28, 2018, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget within the Department of Environmental Management by transferring $35,000 from the Solid Waste Operations Program - Solid Waste Management Fund, Category B (Operations) to Category C (Equipment), for the purchase of security cameras for the Central Maui Landfill to ensure security and maintain controlled access to the facility.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without further revisions. The Committee may also consider other related action.
