TITLE

AMENDING SECTION 13.04.044, MAUI COUNTY CODE, TO PROHIBIT CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL AT WAIALE PARK (WAILUKU)  (EAR-44)

DESCRIPTION

The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 15-285, from Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Michael P. Victorino, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.04.044, MAUI COUNTY CODE, TO PROHIBIT CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL AT WAIALE PARK, WAILUKU, MAUI, HAWAII.”  The purpose of the proposed bill is to add Waiale Park to the list of parks at which consumption of any intoxicating liquor is prohibited under Section 13.04.044, Maui County Code.

STATUS

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 15-285 and other related action.
