RESOLUTION 23-217, ACCEPTING LAND SET ASIDE BY THE GOVERNOR FOR THE OPERATION OF THE KIHEI SEWERAGE SYSTEM PUMP STATION  (WAI-13)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     Resolution 23-217, entitled “ACCEPTING LAND SET-ASIDE BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF HAWAII IN EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 4687, TAX MAP KEY NUMBER (2) 3-8-077:011, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 9754 SQUARE FEET, FOR THE OPERATION OF KIHEI SEWERAGE SYSTEM PUMP STATION NO. 2.”  Resolution 23-217’s purpose is to accept Executive Order 4687 setting aside the 9754 square feet parcel at Pulehunui, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, which contains Kihei Wastewater Pump Station #2.

2.                     An Amendment Summary Form dated December 5, 2023, from Committee Chair Cook with a proposed CD1 version of Resolution 23-217.  The proposed CD1 version amends the resolution’s title, incorporates nonsubstantive revisions, and is approved as to form and legality by the Department of the Corporation Counsel.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed CD1 version of Resolution 23-217, with or without further revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 23-217 and other relation action.
