Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss matters relating to the potential establishment of a Community Facilities District, under Chapter 3.75, Maui County Code, for the Waikapū Country Town project in Wailuku, Hawaiʻi. The Community Facilities District would assist with financing for the project’s special improvements, which may include completion of roadway, wastewater, and drainage infrastructure.
Status
The Committee may receive a presentation from Jeffrey Ueoka, Esq., the attorney representing the Waikapū Country Town project, on the establishment of a Community Facilities District. The Committee may discuss related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
