RESOLUTION 24-81, RELATING TO SETTLEMENT AUTHORIZATION:  CHRISTOPHER SALEM V. COUNTY OF MAUI, ET AL., CASE 2CCV-21-0000048(2) (GREAT-11(41))

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Resolution 24-81, entitled “AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF CHRISTOPHER SALEM VS. COUNTY OF MAUI, ET AL., CIVIL NO. 2CCV-21-0000048(2).”  Resolution 24-81’s purpose is to authorize settlement of Christopher Salem v. County of Maui, et al., Case 2CCV-21-0000048(2).  The claim alleges breach of contract, tortious injury, and unlawful termination, and seeks special, general, and punitive damages, and declaratory and injunctive relief.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 24-81, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 24-81 and other related action.
