RESOLUTION 24-94, FURTHER AMENDING RESOLUTION 18-150 TO RECOGNIZE REVISIONS TO THE AFFORDABLE WORKFORCE HOUSING PROJECT BY WAIKAPU DEVELOPMENT VENTURE LLC AND TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 80 RESIDENTIAL WORKFORCE HOUSING UNITS (HLU-1(1))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. Resolution 24-94, entitled “FURTHER AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 18-150 TO RECOGNIZE REVISIONS TO THE AFFORDABLE WORKFORCE HOUSING PROJECT BY WAIKAPU DEVELOPMENT VENTURE LLC AND TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 80 RESIDENTIAL WORKFORCE HOUSING UNITS.” Resolution 24-94’s purpose is to further amend Resolution 18-150 to approve modifications to and exemptions for the revised affordable workforce housing project by Waikapu Development Venture LLC and to extend the deadline for the completion of construction of the 80 residential workforce housing units to no later than September 7, 2029.
2. Correspondence dated May 21, 2024, from the Committee Chair, transmitting a copy of Resolution 20-107, adopted by the Council on July 24, 2020, which amended Resolution 18-150 to allow the Director of Housing and Human Concerns to extend time deadlines for commencement of construction and completion of the affordable workforce housing project by Waikapu Development Venture LLC.
3. Presentation relating to proposed revisions to the 201H plans and specifications.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend the adoption of Resolution 24-94, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 24-94 and other related action.
