VEHICLE DISPOSAL FEE FUND AND PROGRAM (BFED-20(32))
Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss the Vehicle Disposal Fee Fund established under Chapter 3.27, Maui County Code, and the County’s vehicle disposal program. The discussion may include program operations, the fund balance, authorized uses, the average annual fee collections and expenditures, and may include options to support the program’s purpose and a review of the vehicle disposal fee to better align collections with funding needs.
Status
The Committee may receive information and discuss the County’s Vehicle Disposal Fee Fund and vehicle disposal program, including the fund balance, options to support the program’s purpose and use, and to evaluate the disposal fee. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
