BILL 137 (2024), AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY (WATER OPERATIONS PROGRAM, FITTING AND VALVE REPLACEMENTS) (BFED-103)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. Bill 137 (2024), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI, ESTIMATED REVENUES AND DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY, WATER OPERATIONS PROGRAM, FITTING AND VALVE REPLACEMENTS.” Bill 137’s purpose is to amend the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget by 1) amending Section 2, Estimated Revenues, by increasing Carryover/Savings from the Water Fund by $1,700,000; 2) amending Section 3.B.21.c., Department of Water Supply, Water Operations Program - Water Fund, by increasing Category B - Operations & Equipment and Total appropriations by $1,700,000; and 3) adjusting the totals accordingly.
2. A Certification of Additional Revenues for Fiscal Year 2025, dated September 20, 2024, for $1,700,000 in Carryover/Savings from the Water Fund.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 137 (2024) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 137 (2024) and other related action.
