BILL 78 (2023), CREATING AN IMMIGRANT SERVICES DIVISION UNITED STATES PASSPORT APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE FACILITY REVOLVING FUND  (BFED-33)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Bill 78 (2023), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A NEW CHAPTER 3.50, MAUI COUNTY CODE, CREATING AN IMMIGRANT SERVICES DIVISION UNITED STATES PASSPORT APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE FACILITY REVOLVING FUND.”  Bill 78’s purpose is to establish the Immigrant Services Division United States Passport Application Acceptance Facility Revolving Fund, into which all fees paid to the County of Maui for the Immigrant Services Division’s designation as a United States passport application acceptance facility will be deposited.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 78 (2023) on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 78 (2023) and other related action.
