BILL 158 (2024), RELATING TO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF KAUAI FOR FORENSIC TESTING SERVICES BETWEEN THE KAUAI POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE MAUI POLICE DEPARTMENT  (DRIP-6)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Bill 158 (2024), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF KAUAI FOR FORENSIC TESTING SERVICES BETWEEN THE KAUAI POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE MAUI POLICE DEPARTMENT.”  Bill 158’s purpose is to authorize the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the County of Kaua‘i for forensic drug testing services.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 158 (2024) on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 158 (2024) and other related action.
