Title

AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET:  APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT)  (BF-164)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 18-301, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, COUNTYWIDE, COUNTYWIDE EQUIPMENT; DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, COUNTYWIDE, PUBLIC SAFETY RADIO SYSTEM REPLACEMENT.”  The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget, Appendix C, Capital Improvement Projects, by 1) amending the project description for the Department of Finance, Countywide, Countywide Equipment, by changing the location of one 1500 GPM Pumper Truck from the Wailuku Fire Station to the Kihei Fire Station; and 2) amending the project description for the Department of Management, Countywide, Public Safety Radio System Replacement project, by deleting the existing description of items included in the Fiscal Year 2019 scope and replacing it with “Construction of radio site at Makila (Lahaina area) and microwave link radio equipment, and completion of additional work at Waiakeakua (Lanai).” 

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 18-301 and other related action.
