Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to receive comments and discuss matters relating to the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Human Services Program Partnership with Kealahoʻimai.
Status
The Committee may receive comments from Selene LeGare, Human Services Program Coordinator, University of Hawaiʻi Maui College, and Marisa Watanabe, Kealahoʻimai Project Director, Hui No Ke Ola Pono, relating to the 2024-2026 Kealahoʻimai Substance Abuse Counseling Certificate cohort and how these partnerships may encourage students to enter health care professions on Maui. The Committee may discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
