GENERAL EXCISE TAX FUND - REVIEW OF DEVELOPER RECORDS, REPORTS, FILES, AND OTHER DOCUMENTS (BFED-21(12))
Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss matters relating to requiring a developer of a housing project to allow certain County officials access to records, reports, files, and other documents related to the housing project before the project benefits from expenditures from the general excise tax fund, including Bill 104, FD1 (2023), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.100.040, MAUI COUNTY CODE, ON USE OF THE GENERAL EXCISE TAX FUND.” Bill 104, FD1 (2023) passed first reading at the Council’s meeting of November 3, 2023, and remains with the Council for consideration of passage on second and final reading.
