Description
The Committee is in receipt of Resolution 26-133, entitled "AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF HAWAII FIRE FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 1463, IAFF, AFL-CIO V. JOSH GREEN, ET AL.; HAWAI'I LABOR RELATIONS BOARD CASE 26-CE-11-997 AND JOSH GREEN, ET. AL. V. HAWAII FIRE FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 1463, IAFF, AFL-CIO; HAWAI'I LABOR RELATIONS BOARD CASE 26-CU-11-417." Resolution 26-133's purpose is to approve settlement of: 1) Hawaii Fire Fighters Association, Local 1463, IAFF, AFL-CIO v. Josh Green, et al., Hawai'i Labor Relations Board Case 26-CE-11-997, filed on April 10, 2026; and 2) Josh Green, et al. v. Hawaii Fire Fighters Association, Local 1463, IAFF, AFL-CIO, Hawai'i Labor Relations Board Case 26-CU-11-417, filed on May 18, 2026. The complaints allege prohibited practices within the meaning of Section 89-13, Hawai'i Revised Statutes, arising from an interest arbitration proceeding that resulted in an Interest Arbitration Award dated March 26, 2026.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 26-133, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 26-133 and other related action.
