BILL 92, CD1 (2025), AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION FOR A JOINT TERRORISM TASK FORCE (BFED-4)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Bill 92, CD1 (2025), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION FOR A JOINT TERRORISM TASK FORCE.” Bill 92, CD1’s purpose is to authorize the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the FBI Honolulu Division Joint Terrorism Task Force.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 92, CD1 (2025) on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 92, CD1 (2025) and other related action.
