RESOLUTION 25-110, SETTLEMENT AUTHORIZATION: MERC AND ALISA COIMBRA; CLAIM 2024-0068 (PROPERTY DAMAGE)  (GREAT-11(13))

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     Resolution 25-110, entitled “AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF JMC CLAIM 4088770, COUNTY OF MAUI FILE RISK 2024-0068 OF MERC COIMBRA AND ALISA COIMBRA.”  Resolution 25-110’s purpose is to approve settlement of the claim, filed on March 18, 2024.  The claim alleges property damage due to a water main break which flooded the claimant’s home located at 276 Kaiola Place #101, Kīhei, Maui, Hawai‘i, on February 8, 2024.

2.                     Correspondence dated April 29, 2025, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, transmitting a copy of the claim.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 25-110, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 25-110 and other related action.

 

Note
