Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence dated July 13, 2017, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANT REVENUE - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR (HAWAII STATE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A of the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget by adding a new grant for the Office of the Mayor, entitled “Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women,” in the amount of $3,000.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
