Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     County Communication 21-153, from Councilmember Michael J. Molina, relating to the potential acquisition of Wawau Point (“Baby Beach”), tax map key (2) 3-8-001:072, Paia, Maui, Hawaii.

2.                     County Communication 21-362, from Councilmember Michael J. Molina, relating to the preservation of, and improvements to, Wawau Point (“Baby Beach”) in Paia, including public-safety and litigation issues.

 

Status

The Committee may receive an update from the Department of Finance regarding the potential acquisition, preservation, and improvements to Wawau Point and discuss related matters.  No legislative action will be taken.
