DISCUSSION ON BILL 108 (2025), RELATING TO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY (COOPERATIVE WATER-RESOURCE MONITORING PROGRAM) (WAI-1(4))
Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss matters relating to a proposed intergovernmental agreement with U.S. Geological Survey, Pacific Islands Water Science Center, U.S. Department of the Interior, for the continuation of its cooperative water-resource monitoring program with the Department of Water Supply, including Bill 108 (2025) to authorize the Mayor to enter into the intergovernmental agreement under Section 2.20.020, Maui County Code.
Status
The Committee may discuss the proposed intergovernmental agreement and the status of the ongoing cooperative water-resource monitoring program with the Department of Water Supply. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
