Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee may hold a limited meeting and on-site inspection of Kahoʻolawe that is not open to the public under Section 92-3.1(a), Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, and discuss reviving the Nāulu Cloud Bridge.
Status
The Committee may hold a limited meeting and site inspection of various restoration areas on the upland slopes of Kahoʻolawe under Section 92-3.1(a), Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, guided by Michael Nāhoʻopiʻi, Executive Director, Kahoʻolawe Island Reserve Commission. The Committee may discuss reviving the Nāulu Cloud Bridge, including restoration and reforestation plans to encourage rainfall from leeward Haleakalā to Kahoʻolawe. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No oral testimony or legislative action will be taken.
