BILL 116 (2023), AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2024 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION (KEOPUOLANI FIELD LIGHTS REPLACEMENT) (BFED-56)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. Bill 116 (2023), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI, REVENUES; CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, WAILUKU-KAHULUI COMMUNITY PLAN AREA; AND APPENDIX C, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, WAILUKU-KAHULUI COMMUNITY PLAN AREA.” Bill 116’s purpose is to amend the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget by 1) amending Section 2, Estimated Revenues, by increasing Carryover/Savings from the General Fund by $300,000; 2) amending Section 4.D.6.a.(1), Department of Parks and Recreation, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, Parks and Recreation, General Fund, by adding a new appropriation entitled “Keopuolani Field Lights Replacement” in the amount of $300,000; 3) adjusting the totals accordingly; and 4) amending Appendix C - Capital Improvement Projects, Department of Parks and Recreation, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, by adding a new project and project description entitled “Keopuolani Field Lights Replacement” in the amount of $300,000.
2. A Certification of Additional Revenues for Fiscal Year 2024, dated November 9, 2023, for $300,000 in Carryover/Savings from the General Fund.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 116 (2023) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider whether to recommend the filing of Bill 116 (2023) and other related action.
