Title

RESOLUTION 25-98, SETTLEMENT AUTHORIZATION: DONNA WATERS; CLAIM 2024-0168 (PROPERTY DAMAGE)  (GREAT-11(10)) 

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     Resolution 25-98, entitled “AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF THE CLAIM OF DONNA WATERS AGAINST THE COUNTY OF MAUI, COUNTY OF MAUI RISK FILE 2024-0168.”  Resolution 25-98’s purpose is to approve settlement of the claim, filed on July 25, 2024, in the amount of $69,778.  The claim alleges property damage to the driveway and road located at 200 Alanuilili Place, Kula, Maui, Hawai‘i, on or about August 8, 2023.

2.                     Correspondence dated April 11, 2025, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, transmitting a copy of the claim.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 25-98, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 25-98 and other related action.

 

Note
