Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss strengthening public safety through technology with the Department of Police.
Status
The Committee may discuss matters relating to strengthening public safety through technology with the Department of Police. The Committee’s discussion may include methods to detect, deter, and prevent potential criminal activities and tools to enhance the quality of criminal investigations. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
