AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF COUNTY REAL PROPERTY WITH REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY HALEAKALA RANCH COMPANY, SITUATED AT HALEAKALA HIGHWAY (KULA)  (PEA-54)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 17-483, from the Director of Water Supply, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY SITUATED AT HALEAKALA HIGHWAY, KULA, MAUI, HAWAII, PURSUANT TO SECTION 3.44.060, MAUI COUNTY CODE.”  The purpose of the proposed resolution is to authorize the exchange of County real property, identified for real property tax purposes as tax map key (2) 2-3-005:012, comprised of approximately 6,577 square feet, for real property owned by Haleakala Ranch Company, identified for real property tax purposes as tax map key (2) 2-3-005:026, comprised of approximately 4,869 square feet and containing the Department’s Haleakala Ranch Acres Tank and adjacent water line, and related access and waterline easements.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 17-483 and other related action.
