BILL 93 (2024), AMENDING TITLE 3, MAUI COUNTY CODE, RELATING TO MONETARY DONATIONS DURING AN EMERGENCY  (BFED-18)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Bill 93 (2024), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, MAUI COUNTY CODE, ON MONETARY DONATIONS DURING AN EMERGENCY.”  Bill 93’s purpose is to establish the Maui County Kokua Fund to allow for direct collection of and immediate use of monetary donations during a declared state of emergency.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 93 (2024) on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 93 (2024) and other related action.
