Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss matters relating to child abuse and human trafficking prevention in Maui County.
Status
The Committee may receive presentations from Deb Marois, Coordinator, Hoʻoikaika Partnership, and Cayla Kutaka, Program Director, Parents and Children Together, with data regarding child abuse and neglect, domestic abuse, and human trafficking in Maui County, how it impacts the County, and social services available to prevent these situations. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
