BILL 83 (2026), AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, SEWER FUND; AND APPENDIX A, PART II, OPEN SPACE, NATURAL RESOURCES, CULTURAL RESOURCES, AND SCENIC VIEWS PRESERVATION FUND (BFED-59)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of Bill 83 (2026), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET, DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, WASTEWATER ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM - SEWER FUND, ADD AN APPROPRIATION FOR TRANSFER TO THE OPEN SPACE, NATURAL RESOURCES, CULTURAL RESOURCES, AND SCENIC VIEWS PRESERVATION FUND FOR TMK: (2) 3-8-005-023 IN THE AMOUNT OF $372,933, WASTEWATER OPERATIONS PROGRAM - SEWER FUND, DECREASE CATEGORY B - OPERATIONS & EQUIPMENT BY $372,933, APPENDIX A, PART II, OPEN SPACE, NATURAL RESOURCES, CULTURAL RESOURCES, AND SCENIC VIEWS PRESERVATION FUND, INCREASE ANTICIPATED REVENUES AND TOTAL BY $372,933.” Bill 83’s purpose is to amend the FY 2026 Budget by:
a. Amending Section 3.B.5.b, Department of Environmental Management, Wastewater Administration Program - Sewer Fund, by adding an appropriation entitled “Transfer to the Open Space, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, and Scenic Views Preservation Fund for TMK: (2) 3-8-005-023,” in the amount of $372,933;
b. Amending Section 3.B.5.c, Department of Environmental Management, Wastewater Operations Program - Sewer Fund, by decreasing Category B - Operations & Equipment and Total by $372,933; and
c. Amending Appendix A, Part II, Special Purpose Revenues - Schedule of Revolving/Special Funds for Fiscal Year 2026, Open Space, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, and Scenic Views Preservation Fund, by increasing Anticipated Revenues for FY 2026 and Total for FY 2026 by $372,933.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 83 (2026) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 83 (2026) and other related action.
