BILL 122 (2025), AMENDING CHAPTER 16.25, MAUI COUNTY CODE, ON FACTORY-BUILT HOUSING  (WAI-14)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Bill 122 (2025), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16.25, MAUI COUNTY CODE, RELATING TO FACTORY-BUILT HOUSING.”  Bill 122’s purpose is to amend Chapter 16.25, Maui County Code, to establish procedures for the design, manufacture, installation, inspection, and transportation of factory-built housing for one- and two-family dwellings.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 122 (2025) on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 122 (2025) and other related action.
