Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to receive an update on the Maui Wildfire Exposure Cohort Study.
Status
The Committee may receive an update on the Maui Wildfire Exposure Cohort Study, a comprehensive study to understand and mitigate the health and social impacts of the August 2023 Maui wildfires, from Dr. Ruben Juarez, Hawaiʻi Medical Services Association Distinguished Endowed Professor, University of Hawaiʻi Economic Research Organization and Economics Department, and Dr. Christopher Knightsbridge, Psy.D., Psychology Researcher and Clinician, Head of Mental Health Team, University of Hawaiʻi Maui Wildfire Exposure Study. The Committee may also discuss other related matters. No legislative action will be taken.
