ACQUISITION OF CONDOMINIUM UNITS FOR AFFORDABLE KUPUNA HOUSING (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT) (BFED-88)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. Resolution 24-52, entitled "AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A CONDOMINIUM UNIT IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY NO. (2) 4-3-010:011:0101 LOCATED IN LAHAINA, MAUI, HAWAII, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $530,000.00." Resolution 24-52's purpose is to authorize the acquisition of a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit at the Kahana Manor condominium project, consisting of approximately 631 square feet, located at 4310 Lower Honoapiilani Road, Apt. No. 617, Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, for $530,000, exclusive of closing costs and expenses.
2. Resolution 24-53, entitled "AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A CONDOMINIUM UNIT IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY NO. (2) 3-4-039:050:0017 LOCATED IN WAILUKU, MAUI, HAWAII, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $440,000.00." Resolution 24-53's purpose is to authorize the acquisition of a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit at the Parkview Square condominium project, consisting of approximately 696 square feet, located at 1129 Lower Main Street, Apt. No. 303, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, for $440,000, exclusive of closing costs and expenses.
3. Resolution 24-54, entitled "AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A CONDOMINIUM UNIT IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY NO. (2) 3-9-004:134:0109 LOCATED IN KIHEI, MAUI, HAWAII, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $625,000.00." Resolution 24-54's purpose is to authorize the acquisition of a two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit at the Keonekai Villages condominium project, consisting of approximately 625 square feet, located at 160 Keonekai Road, Unit 13-101, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, for $625,000, exclusive of closing costs and expenses.
4. Correspondence dated March 13, 2024, from the Community Development Block Grant Program Director, transmitting the appraisals and preliminary title reports for each of the condominium units referenced in Resolution 24-52, Resolution 24-53, and Resolution 24-54, ...
