Description
The Committee is in receipt of Bill 100 (2026), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.56.040, MAUI COUNTY CODE, TO ESTABLISH COMPREHENSIVE LOBBYIST REGULATIONS.” Bill 100’s purpose is to establish comprehensive lobbyist regulations, including registration, training, reporting requirements, restricted activities, and penalties.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 100 (2026) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 100 (2026) and other related action.
