BILL 121 (2025), INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE HAWAI‘I ARMY NATIONAL GUARD FOR INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM ALARM RESPONSE PROCEDURES  (DRIP_15)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of Bill 121 (2025), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MAUI POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE HAWAI‘I ARMY NATIONAL GUARD FOR THE INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM ALARM RESPONSE PROCEDURES.”  Bill 121’s purpose is to authorize the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmental agreement between the County’s Department of Police and the Hawai‘i Army National Guard to establish response procedures to intrusion detection system alarms at Hawai‘i Army National Guard facilities.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 121 (2025) on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 121 (2025) and other related action.
