AMENDMENTS TO THE RULES OF THE COUNCIL (ORAL TESTIMONY) (GET-6(1))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. County Communication 19-27, from Council Chair Kelly T. King, relating to amendments to the Rules of the Council.
2. County Communication 19-121, from Councilmember Alice L. Lee, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AMENDING THE RULES OF THE COUNCIL RELATING TO ORAL TESTIMONY.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Rules of the Council relating to oral testimony for testifiers who speak on more than three items at the same meeting.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communications 19-27 and 19-121, and other related action.
