Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss Bill 29 (2026), which would amend the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, Section 3.B.11.c., Department of Management, Office of Recovery Program, by adding conditional language for Native Hawaiian Education Association for up to $390,000 to renovate the Ke Ola Hou Community Resiliency Center and for up to $758,973 for Imua Family Services for the Imua Discovery Garden and preschool building costs. Bill 29 passed first reading at the Council’s February 18, 2026, meeting and remains pending for passage on second and final reading.
