Description
The Committee is in receipt of Bill 35 (2024), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI, APPENDIX A, PART II, SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF REVOLVING/SPECIAL FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024, AFFORDABLE HOUSING FUND, AIKANAHA.” Bill 35’s purpose is to amend the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget, Appendix A, Part II, Special Purpose Revenues - Schedule of Revolving /Special Funds for Fiscal Year 2024, Affordable Housing Fund, by deleting the conditional language for Ka Hale a Ke Ola Homeless Resource Centers, Inc. and the Kuikahi Village Workforce Housing Project, and adding new appropriations for the Aikanaha Project Phases I and II, located in Waikapu Country Town east of Honoapiʻilani Highway, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaiʻi.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 35 (2024) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 35 (2024) and other related action.
