Description

Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee may receive presentations on alternative 2023 wildfire debris processing solutions.

 

Status

The Committee may receive presentations relating to alternative 2023 wildfire debris processing solutions, including pyrolysis; ocean plastic cleaning; landfill waste diversion and mitigation; sustainable waste disposal and reutilization processes; biochar; and alternative waste containment options from Clean Oceans International; Dr. Willie “Skip” Rochefort, Associate Professor, Chemical Engineering, Oregon State University; PDO Technologies; Institute for Energy Resource Management; Global Biochar, Inc.; and Clean Harbors.  The Committee may also discuss related matters.  No legislative action will be taken.
