AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET:  DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION (WAIEHU GOLF COURSE PROGRAM - GOLF FUND)  (BF-30)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     County Communication 17-49, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill to amend the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget by 1) increasing Carryover/Savings from the Golf Fund by $16,200; and 2) amending Section 3.B.10.d.(1), by increasing the Department of Parks and Recreation, Waiehu Golf Course Program - Golf Fund, General, by $16,200 under Category A - Salaries and Total appropriation. 

2.                     A Certification of Additional Revenues for Fiscal Year 2017, dated January 13, 2017, for $16,200 in Carryover/Savings from the Golf Fund.

3.                     Correspondence dated January 23, 2017, from the Budget Director, transmitting a revised proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO ESTIMATED REVENUES; DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, WAIEHU GOLF COURSE PROGRAM - GOLF FUND; TOTAL OPERATING APPROPRIATIONS; AND TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS (OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS).”  The purpose of the revised proposed bill is to increase Carryover/Savings from the Golf Fund by $16,200 instead of the General Fund.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the revised proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 17-49 and other related action.
