MAUI WILDFIRE DEBRIS REMOVAL FOR COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTIES  (WAI-1(12))

 

Description

Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss matters relating to debris removal for county-owned properties, including Bill 118 (2023), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE STATE OF HAWAII REGARDING THE AUTHORIZATION FOR MAUI WILDFIRE DEBRIS REMOVAL FOR COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTIES.”  Bill 118 (2023), passed first reading at the Council’s meeting of November 20, 2023, and remains with the Council for consideration of passage on second and final reading at its December 1, 2023, meeting.

 

Status

The Committee may discuss matters relating to debris removal for county-owned properties, including Bill 118 (2023), and other related matters.  No legislative action will be taken.
