Description
Under Rule 7(B) of the Rules of the Council, the Committee intends to discuss Resolution 26-153, which authorizes the Mayor to formalize a sister-city relationship between the County of Maui and the City of Laoag, Capital of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. The relationship aims to strengthen cultural, business, educational, and economic exchanges while promoting friendship and goodwill. Resolution 26-153 was adopted at the Council’s reconvened meeting on September 29, 2026.
