RESOLUTION 25-196, SETTLEMENT AUTHORIZATION: KANANI KEALOHA FALEAFINE; CLAIM 4A25055GZP0-0001 (PROPERTY DAMAGE)  (GREAT-11(22))

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     Resolution 25-196, entitled “AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM 4A25055GZP0-0001 OF KANANI KEALOHA FALEAFINE.” Resolution 25-196’s purpose is to approve settlement of the claim, filed on May 5, 2025, in the amount of $55,668.18. The claim alleges damage to the claimant’s property located at 1826 Kaohu Street in Wailuku, Hawai‘i, resulting from a sewer line collapse under the property occurring on or about June 1, 2024.

2.                     Correspondence dated October 17, 2025, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, transmitting a copy of the claim.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 25-196, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 25-196 and other related action.

 

Note
