BILL 103 (2025), BILL 104 (2025), AND RESOLUTION 25-173, RELATING TO THE ACQUISITION AND RENOVATION OF 24 NORTH CHURCH STREET, WAILUKU, HAWAI?I (BFED-45)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. Bill 103 (2025), entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET; INCREASE ESTIMATED REVENUES, BOND/LAPSED BOND BY $10,000,000; CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, WAILUKU-KAHULUI COMMUNITY PLAN AREA, AND APPENDIX C, DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, WAILUKU-KAHULUI COMMUNITY PLAN AREA, APPROPRIATION FOR $10,000,000 FOR 24 NORTH CHURCH STREET BUILDING ACQUISITION AND RENOVATIONS." Bill 103's purpose is to amend the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget by:
a) amending Section 2, Estimated Revenues, by increasing Bond/Lapsed Bond by $10,000,000;
b) amending Section 4.D.2.a.(1), Department of Management, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, Government Facilities, Bond Fund, by adding a new appropriation entitled "24 North Church Street Building Acquisition and Renovations" in the amount of $10,000,000;
c) adjusting the totals accordingly; and
d) amending Appendix C - Capital Improvement Projects, Department of Management, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, by adding a new project and project description, entitled "24 North Church Street Building Acquisition and Renovations," in the amount of $10,000,000.
2. Bill 104 (2025), entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 5818, BILL 43, CD 1 (2025), RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY OF SAID BONDS (DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT)." Bill 104's purpose is to amend the Fiscal Year 2026 general obligation bond authorization ordinance by adding an appropriation for the Department of Management, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, Government Facilities, entitled "24 North Church Street Building Acquisition and Renovations," in the amount of $10,000,000.
