The Committee is in receipt of Bill 49 (2026), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10.48.040, MAUI COUNTY CODE, ON PARKING PROHIBITIONS FOR CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS.” Bill 49’s purpose is to promote public safety by prohibiting overnight parking on Lehuakona, Ala Makani, and Ohekani streets in Kahului.
