AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (GLASS RECOVERY PROGRAM) (BF-88)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 16-145, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANT REVENUE - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (GLASS RECOVERY PROGRAM).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A of the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget by increasing the grant for the Department of Environmental Management, Glass Recovery Program, by $16,100. The grant is from the State of Hawaii, Department of Health, in the amount of $99,100.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 16-145 and other related action.
