AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET: ANIMAL MANAGEMENT REVOLVING FUND (BF-101)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 16-182, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO PART II, SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF REVOLVING/SPECIAL FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017, ANIMAL MANAGEMENT REVOLVING FUND.” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A of the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget, relating to the Animal Management Revolving Fund (Chapter 3.84, Maui County Code), by adding an appropriation for: (1) the Maui Humane Society for $20,500; and (2) the Molokai Humane Society for $30,500. The funds will be used to purchase equipment.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 16-182 and other related action.
