AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII FOR FEDERAL AID PROJECTS (BF-108)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 16-212, from the Director of Public Works, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI TO ENTER INTO AN AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII REGARDING FEDERAL AID PROJECTS.” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the intergovernmental agreement between the County and State of Hawaii to authorize execution of subagreements for Federal Aid Projects. Attached to the proposed bill are: (1) Exhibit “1”, a copy of the existing Intergovernmental Agreement dated June 25, 2015, with attachments; and (2) Exhibit “2”, the proposed Agreement Modification No. 001, unsigned, with attachments.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 16-212 and other related action.
