Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. County Communication 16-170, from the Director of Parks and Recreation, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING A GRANT OF A LEASE OF COUNTY RECREATIONAL SPACE TO BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF MAUI, INC. (HAIKU CLUBHOUSE).”
2. Economic Development, Energy, Agriculture, and Recreation Committee Report 16-167, dated October 21, 2016 (recommitted), recommending the following: (1) adoption of proposed resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into a lease with Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Inc., for the Haiku Clubhouse, for a term of 30 years, to expire on June 30, 2046, for an annual rent of $1; and 2) filing of County Communication 16-170.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 16-170 and Committee Report 16-167, and other related action.
